Thailand Butterflies
The Kingdom of Thailand has a surface of 513,000 km2, runs from North to South for over 2000 km, with mountains as high as 2,565 mt of Doi Inthanon, rainforest or deciduous forests, over 120 national parks and protected areas.
All this make this wonderful country an ideal destination for the observation of butterflies and other wild animals.
With almost 1300 species or 1600 species and subspecies of butterflies, Thailand is a true paradise for the naturalist and the photographer and enthusiasts converge here from all over the world to enjoy these rare marvels of Mother Nature.
The Butterfly trips by Antonio Giudici
After many years of experience photographing butterflies and other animals here in Thailand and several requests by friends and acquaintances, I started this small activity in this country rich in protected areas and biodiversity.
Since 2014 I guide and drive groups of photographers and nature lovers in many of the best Thai destinations looking for common or rare species, providing you with my know-how, both photographic and identification, but above all the knowledge of new locations acquired in all these years.
