Hala Bala Wildlife Sanctuary (Narathiwat) 18 June 2023
Following a report of Mr. Matti Sakari, Dave Sargeant and I went on a reconnaissance trip to Hala Bala Wildlife Sanctuary trying to find Junonia hedonia, a species mostly flying in Central-South Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
The survey was successful and we manage to find the species common in several stations of the Sanctuary.
The curious thing is that I have accurately explored the same areas during the last years, without ever notice this species. Could possibly just expanding now its areal.
