Bhutan Map 2020

I am proud to present the first butterfly trip in an area of Bhutan rarely visited by entomologists  and quite pristine. More than a simple trip will be a real expedition, with long transfers along hard roads, simple accommodations, breathtaking views of an untouched nature, unique culture and traditions, discovering locations where probably nobody shot butterflies before.

Day 1  Arrive at Guwahati and drive to  Samdrup Jongkhar (3 hours drive, approx. 150 masl), the bordering town of Bhutan. Stop overnight.

Day 2  Explore places like Deothang  areas for low altitude butterflies.

Day 3  Early morning, drive to Trashigang (approx 1,800msl, 150 km). On way, explore places like Wamrong, Morong, etc. We will be driving uphill.
